We’ll be performing our live set Mortals Electric at the VIDEOEX festival, a festival for experimental film and video in Zürich, Swiss, on Saturday the 29th of May, at 22:30 in the Festivalzentrum Kunstraum Walcheturm.
On friday the 28th of May, at 20:15, Loudthings and Sessions_03_rev03 are screened as part of the program Visual Music from the Netherlands, curated and presented by Joost Rekveld.
On Sunday the 2nd of May, 19:15, at the Filmmuseum in the Amsterdam Vondelpark, our 5.1 surround Live Cinema performance Mortals Electric will mark the final evening of the film³ [kyü-bik film] exhibition, an exhibition that shows work by a new generation of Holland based experimental film makers, at various locations in the Westerpark.
We were allowed to pick three gems from the archive of the Filmmuseum, three short films to show before our live performance: Ray Eames’ A communications primer (USA-1953), James Whitney’s High voltage (USA-1957) and Willem Bon’s Is er overeenkomst tusschen klank, rhythme en kleurafwisseling? (Are there resemblances between sound, rhythm and color changes?) (NL-1932).

We’ll be joing our friends from Feedbacksociety this friday at the Cimatics festival in Brussels. We’re performing our 5.1 surround Live Cinema performance Mortals Electric at the 7th edition of the Cimatics festival in Brussels, Belgium, on the 27th of November. We are very excited to announce the world premiere of 12_Series! Over the last months we have been working at BALTAN on this new installation. On April 24, 2009 the world premiere will be held at Woodstreet Galleries in Pittsburgh, USA.
Together with Martijn van Boven, we also curated the Machine Improvisations exhibition, running next to 12_Series at Woodstreet Galleries until June 20, 2009. For the opening we invited some of the finest Dutch audiovisual performers to show their latest works live: with Telcosystems, Synchronator, TeZ and Martijn van Boven.

We are very pleased to announce the trailer we made for the Transmediale festival. Telcosystems was invited to make the trailer for the 2009 edition: Deep North .
We are also performing our live set Mortals Electric on the 30th of January 2009 in the House of World Cultures in Berlin. It starts at 20:30h and Ryoichi Kurokawa is playing also that evening.
