Semaphore @ 5 Days Off

We are very happy to announce our new installation SEMAPHORE is finished. It will have its world premiere at the Dutch Media Art Institute in Amsterdam, as part of the Optofonica / Crosswire exhibition. Other artists in the show are: Aernoudt Jacobs, Sagi Groner, Kaffe Matthews, TeZ & Janis Ponisch.

The exhibition opens Wednesday 2 July 2008 at 18.30, Keizersgracht 264 Amsterdam.
We will also perform live on Friday 4 July 2008 at 19:30 at the same location. Space is limited, so be quick with reservations: info@nimk.nl.

Meta_Epics I rec viewing at Boston Cyberarts Festival’s Visual Music Marathon

Meta_Epics I rec will be exhibited at the Boston Cyberarts Festival’s Visual Music Marathon, as part of a curated selection of works from NYDS’ Abstract Visual Music project. Meta_Epics will be shown April 28, 5pm - 6pm, 2007. The Visual Music Marathon is a joint effort between Northeastern University’s Department of Music and the Multimedia Studies Program.

Furthering our investigations into the realm of Live Cinema we’ll be presenting a brand new installation this summer.

“Meta_Epics I is the result of research of generative compositions systems for spatial sound and images. Starting point are the organic non-referencial shapes and sounds with a clear and austere aesthetic. The installation is an abstract audio-visual tale that bases its rhythm on date and time.”
