In this work Telcosystems uses the Crosslinx soundtrack from Jason Haas to activate the latest version of their custom made real-time audiovisual environment. Based on a continuous analysis of the auditive domain, the software engine constructs and deconstructs the visual domain. Over the last years Telcosystems has presented a series of performances and installations that showed the result of their ongoing research into a distinctive, own narrative that emerges from the relation between behaviour of programmed numerical logic and the perception of a conversion of this behaviour into the physical world of spatial and abstract image and sound. Crosslinx premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in Januari 2006 and was nominated for the Tiger Awards for Short Film. Crosslinx also appeared on the DVD The Anthology of Computer Art, published by Sonic Acts, Amsterdam.
